Here in Michigan, we are used to a slow start to our Corvette season. However, the COVID-19 has made this year’s start extraordinarily late! June is fast approaching and we have yet to hold our first Autocross, Rallye, or Concourse. Most of the local spring parades or dust-off cruises that we usually participate in have been canceled. Our 2019 Awards Banquet was even put off until next year.
Speaking of our 2019 awards, they are available and will be distributed as soon as we are allowed to hold small public gatherings. In the meantime, I have attached the 2019 Michigan Region Awards list. The 2019 award recipients will also be co-recognized next year at the 2020 awards banquet. As you can see, I am optimistic about salvaging at least part of our 2020 competition season.
